THE TWO JUDGMENT SEATS OF CHRIST |
1. THE THREE PRINCIPAL POINTS.
2. THE BRIDE WILL NOT GO TO THE JUDGMENT.
3. THE SAINTS JUDGE THEMSELVES BY THE WORD.
4. THE JUDGMENT OF THE RIGHTEOUS.
5. THE PENALTY FOR SIN WILL BE LIFTED.
6. THE PURPOSE OF THE LORD'S COMING.
7. BEHIND THE CURTAIN OF TIME.
8. THIS JUDGMENT IS BEFORE THE RESURRECTION.
9. THE SAINTS SHALL JUDGE THE WORLD.
THE THREE PRINCIPAL POINTS
The subject about Judgments is another controversial topic among the end time Message believers. Once again, we see or hear many statements made by the Prophet which sound contradictory, and without the help of the Holy Spirit we would never be able to fit them together correctly without a discrepancy. Referring to Judgments, Brother Branham mentioned three principal points.
First: | the saints judge themselves by the Word of God. |
Second: | the Bride of Jesus Christ will not go to the Judgment. |
Third: | the Bride of Jesus will be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ. |
In 1 Corinthians 11:31 and 32, the Apostle Paul tells his church exactly the same.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord,
that we should not be condemned with the world.
THE BRIDE WILL NOT GO TO THE JUDGMENT
We read in Revelation 20:11 to 15 about the White Throne Judgment, it will take place after the Millennium, after Gog and Magog which will be the very last war on earth. We read how the sea and the grave will deliver up the dead and everyone was judged according to their works which are written in those books which will be opened at that time. In Matthew 25: 32 to 46, the Lord Jesus explains this same Judgment. He defined some of the righteous and unrighteous works and deeds recorded in those books, He described how some will be compared to sheep and they will inherit life eternal. The others who failed the test of life, Jesus likened to goats who shall go into everlasting punishment.
All of those people, all their actions, deeds, works, words and thoughts are recorded in those books mentioned in Revelation 20:12. The righteous believers, the sheep who will receive life eternal, their names and deeds are recorded in the Book of life. Under certain circumstances, names written in the Book of life can be blotted out and deleted like those Israelites who instigated the making and worship of the golden calf as it is written in Exodus 32:33. Also those religious leaders who called for the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross, their names were taken off the "Book of the living" according to Psalm 69:28. Many who believe that they are part of the true church of God will also fail when they "let down the bars" as we read in Revelation 3:2 and 5, their names will be blotted out of the Book of life. But the names of the members of the Bride of the Lord Jesus are recorded in a seperate section, in the Lamb's Book of life and no name can be blotted out of that part of the Book.
Now, your name is now in the new Book, not in the Book of Life, but the Lamb's Book
of Life. What the Lamb redeemed. Not the old book of your natural union, but
you're new Bride, hallelujah! Your new Life is in the Lamb's Book of Life--your
marriage certificate, hallelujah! Where your true eternal germ from the
beginning takes hold.
32-3 INVISIBLE UNION OF THE BRIDE -- SHP. LA - V-2 N-15 - 65-1125
The Bride will become the married Queen and reign with Christ a thousand years before the White Throne Judgment, she could not be judged with the rest of the world. According to Revelation 19:8, we will be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. The Lord Jesus suffered and died and went to hell to take the keys of hell and death, He took our place and our Judgment which we deserved upon Himself that the Bride can be washed by His Blood and take His place and become righteous, sinless and holy as He is.
Free from judgment. We can never go to the judgment. How can
you be judged twice? By... You... God judged Jesus Christ and He put our
judgment upon Christ and Christ paid our judgment at Calvary. If we're in
Christ, we're secured in Christ.

How could you have to suffer for your sins, when Christ has already done it?
God would be a twotimer and a awful person (That's right.), when it was thoroughly

157 WHAT HOLY GHOST WAS GIVEN FOR - JEFF. IN - V-4 N-3 - 59-1217
These are just a few quotations, there are many more to make this fact plain and clear. Brother Branham does not only talk about the White Throne Judgment, some of these quotes refer to the great tribulation as a Judgment. We must realise that nearly all the churches visited by the Prophet believed that the Bride must go through the great tribulation to be purified. That is one of the reasons why Brother Branham laboured so much on this subject of the Judgment, to denounce that wrong doctrine.
Now I'm not here preaching doctrine. There is ministers on the
platform here, that would disagree probably with this. Most all ministers believe
that the Church goes through the Tribulation period, for purification;
I can't see it. The Blood of Jesus Christ is our purification; nothing cleaner,
see. See? I believe that the church, the denominational church and the sleeping
virgin, does go through the Tribulation, but not the Bride. There is a difference
between the church and the Bride. The Bride goes in the Rapture.

He said, "There's one thing that I have to disagree with Brother

129-1 {79} FIRST SEAL THE -- JEFF.IN -- 63-0318
We can clearly see that whenever the Prophet declares that the Bride is not going to the Judgment, he means that she is not going into the tribulation for purification. But, as the sixth Seal revealed, those foolish virgins who fail to be part of the Bride of Jesus Christ because they did refuse to be washed completely by the water of the Word, they will go into the tribulation for purification.
No good teacher believes that the church, the bride... The church goes through the tribulation, but not the bride. The church goes through for purification, sure, under the sixth seal . Right. Israel does the same thing, for the hundred and forty-four thousand, but not the bride. There's... The bride's forgiven. She goes straight to glory in a rapture .

E-32 CONFERENCES -- TUCSON.AZ -- 63-0608
In the following quote, the Prophet mentions once again this judgment in the tribulation which we must miss under all circumstances. But at the end of this same quote , he confirms once more that at the coming of the Lord we will be judged and confirmed as His faultless and spotless Bride.
Notice, these type, the reason they die out, they go through the purging of trial of the tribulation ; because they're not actually under the Blood. They claim they are, but they're not. How can they go through
a trial to purify them when the--when the bleach Blood of Jesus Christ takes every symptom of sin and stuff away from you. And you're already dead, and your life is hid in Him through God and sealed in there by the Holy Ghost; what are you going to be judged for ? Where you going to get your purification? What do you have to be purified from when you're perfectly in Christ, sinless? How... What's the judgment for? But it's this sleeping bunch that them people can't make out. Now, they haven't done it for years (See?), but this is the hour of revelation (See, see?) being revealed, just at the coming of the Bride... The last winding up, the last things are coming... It's coming to an end, friend, I believe. When? I don't know. I--I can't tell you, but anything... I want to live tonight like if it was tonight, I'd be ready. See? He might come tonight yet , and He might not come for twenty years. I don't know when He'll come, but whenever it is, I... My life might be over tonight, and then whatever I've done here is finished at that hour; I-- I've got to meet Him in the judgment the way I went down here. The way the tree leans; that's the way it falls.
134-4 {120} FIRST SEAL THE -- JEFF.IN -- 63-0318
At the coming of the Lord, the Bride of all ages will meet the Lord in the Judgment of the righteous. But before we look at that in detail, let us see what the Prophet said about judging ourselves.
THE SAINTS JUDGE THEMSELVES BY THE WORD
Like all those saints before us, we must constantly judge ourselves if our understanding, motives and actions are in line with God's Word as revealed by the Message of the hour. In 2 Corinthians 13:5, the Apostle Paul rebuked the church and he asked them to examine themselves whether they are still in the faith or not! Our first Judgment begins at the house of God as we read in 1 Peter 4:17, after we are justified by faith and sanctified by the Blood, and baptised with the Holy Spirit, we are in a position to judge between right and wrong as explained in 1 Corinthians 2:15.
But
he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he
himself is judged of no man.
You judge yourself by the way you treat God's propitiation
there for your sins. See? You judge yourself. You don't judge Him just enough
to forgive you. See? If you think He will forgive you, confess your faults,
and He will forgive you.

We judge ourselves now by the Word of God, but there are thousands of different results among the believers. How do we know if our judgment of God's Word is acceptable to Him or not? The Lord Jesus said that many are called, but few are chosen. We estimate that there are a few million believers worldwide, who were called to follow the Message, but according to the Prophet only a very, very few are chosen to care enough and take a stand for the truth, regardless of the consequences, to make their calling and election sure. As the amount of followers increases, the number of genuine, true believers of the Message is decreasing.

Brother Branham tells us in the last two quotes that not a single little group, not a single Message church will meet the Lord at His coming, there will be a gathering of individual saints only, about a hundred out of every two million will make it!
When we came to the Message, called by the grace of God to be able to see and accept it, we were "overwhelmed" by the extent of all the new revelations of God's Word. We needed ministers and elders to help us and lead us to get established in the faith, but many remained in the "overwhelmed" stage, they did not advance to the baptism of the Holy Spirit which brings the individual into the required personal relationship with the Lord Jesus to be able to judge the Word correctly.
But My Father, which is in Heaven, has revealed it to
you. And upon this rock..." Hallelujah! What rock? The spiritual revelation
of God manifesting Himself to the individual. Hallelujah! "Upon this
rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell can't prevail against It."

E-55 IDENTIFIED CHRIST OF ALL AGES - LOUISVILLE. MS - 64-0401
Ephesians 4:11 tells us that the Lord Jesus gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints and the edifying of the church. They are the extension of the Messenger for the time and age he is sent, they should preach and teach the parts of the Message which pertain to their respective ministries. Apart from the scriptural "five fold" ministry, we also have a "hundred fold" ministry preaching and teaching a variety of contradicting concepts. Therefore, we must have the genuine baptism of the Holy Spirit, that is the only protection and safeguard for every individual believer to be able to judge and discern right from wrong, to know what is part of the Message and what is not.
There is something about a child of God, that when you
once are born into the Spirit of God, receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit,
there is something about the person that can sense the enemy. You can take a
man when he's taking the Scripture, and reading the Scripture and try to inject
something to that Scripture, that's contrary to the Scripture, a man that's
filled with the Holy Ghost can (Brother Branham snaps his finger--Ed.) sense
that, right quick. There is something out of the way. When he gets into a place,
and--and that little certain sense in there, that it's done to protect your
life. You, you mustn't, you mustn't never go for anything unless it's exactly
the Word of God. You must stay right exactly with that Word. And, now, and we
are secured with that sense as long as we are in the Holy Spirit.

And now, how can you be an antichrist? Anybody that denies that

an antichrist, because they deny the Word, and He is the Word.
264-5 THE THIRD SEAL -- JEFF. IN -- 63-0320
In Philippians 2:10 and 11, the Apostle Paul tells the believers that at the coming of the Lord every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The next verse says:
Wherefore,
my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in
my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out
your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Paul praises the Philippians because they had always obeyed his Message. That church and all the other churches had a five fold ministry, but Paul urged the saints to work out their own salvation by what he said, by his Message only. He tells them that, with fear and trembling, they must judge and make sure that nobody changes anything, every Pastor, minister or elder must only say what Paul had already said. It is obvious that those saints and all the others of all ages will have to give an account to the Lord at some time, or else why should they fear and tremble?
Now you're the judge, see, you're the one that has to. You are the judge now, but He is the Judge
then. You are judge now, whether you want It or not. He is the Judge then,
whether you received It or not. So you'll just have to make up your mind, what
you want to do, but it's up to you. Every man, like Adam and Eve, the right
and wrong sit before every person, and you have to make your mind.
277 THE UNCERTAIN SOUND -- JEFF. IN -- V-16 N-3 -- 60-1218
...and we don't know what time that we may be called on to answer
yonder at judgment, and to give an account for what we've done with Jesus Christ.
And then the case is closed, the book is closed; it's laying closed, and there's
nothing can be done. We've judged ourselves by judging Him.
162 ACTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - JEFF. IN - V-26 N-9 - 54-1219.2E
Here we see the exact reason why there will be such a very few believers left at the end of time, the greater majority follows blindly what their church leaders say. They would never consider the need to check personally every doctrine and compare it with the Message of the hour as every soul is supposed to do. Where are all the "buzzers" which warn the believers if someone says something wrong in the way of death? How many individual Message believers work out their own salvation with fear and trembling in that way? We all will have to give an account of our lives to the Lord Jesus, He said so in Matthew 12: 36 and 37,
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall
speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words
thou shalt be condemned.
The Apostle Paul confirms this in Romans 3:4 and 14:10 and 12, and 2 Corinthians 5:10.
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written,
That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome
when thou art judged.
...for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ;
that everyone may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
That great man of God said: "WE must all appear..." and "every one of US", including himself and all the saints of all ages. The Apostle Paul will certainly not stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ at the White Throne Judgment, he and all the "overcomers" of all ages will appear at a different Judgment, the Judgment of the righteous at the coming of the Lord.
When Paul mentioned that we all must appear at the Judgment Seat, to answer for good or bad deeds, he was talking about 2 Judgments altogether. Nothing bad will be brought up at the first Judgment, the bloodwashed Bride of Jesus Christ will be judged and declared righteous and sinless at the coming of the Lord to claim her as His own. In the following quotes we see the same, Brother Branham will be a judge for the people in the first Judgment in glory, or against them at the White Throne Judgment.
And now--now, when I appear there, if it's by Thine mercy
that I should stand with the redeemed, I will either have to be a judge
against these people or a judge for them. For the saints shall judge
the earth.

"I will never see you again on earth." And I think, "The
next time I see them will be there in Glory, or either... What if some of them
don't get saved, Lord, and the Bride, the church is to stand there as the judge,
see. And the saints shall judge the earth."

Referring to Judgments, the Prophet used John 5:24 to 29 more than any other Scripture which explains the two Judgments very clearly. Verse 24 tells us that there will be some who receive everlasting life, they pass into that life without death. The next verse describes that a certain group who had died will hear the voice of the Son of God and every one of them will receive the same everlasting life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word,
and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life,
and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from
death unto life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is,
when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God:
and they that hear shall live.
The first Judgment will be before the resurrection of the dead in Christ as also the Apostles Peter and Paul explained in Acts 10:42, 1 Peter 4:5 and 2 Timothy 4:1.
...to judge the quick and the dead.
The quick (the living saints) and the dead will be judged in righteousness at the coming of the Lord Jesus, the living ones are those mentioned in John 5:24, and the dead saints in verse 25. The righteous Judge, the Kinsman Redeemer is described in the next two verses.
For as
the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given
to the Son to have life in himself;
And hath given him authority to execute judgment also,
because he is the Son of man.
The following verses in John 5:28 and 29 refer to the White Throne Judgment which is altogether different, there are no living ones there. Unlike the first group of dead saints, all the rest of the dead "come forth" when the voice calls them to be resurrected for that Judgment a 1000 years later..
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which
all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto
the resurrection of damnation.
THE JUDGMENT OF THE RIGHTEOUS
The title "The Judgment of the Righteous" we took from Psalm 1:5, and together with Psalm 76:9, Matthew 16:27 and Hebrews 12:22 to 24 we have a good description of this glorious day of the Lord.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father
with his angels; and then he shall reward every man
according to his works.
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the
living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable
company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which
are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to
the
spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood
of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
The general assembly of the Bride of all ages, all whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of life will be gathered there. Psalm 84:7 also tells us that every one will appear before God individually, the Judge of all. Yes, Zion shall be redeemed with Judgment as Isaiah 1:27 explains, every one with righteousness as blameless and faultless overcomer. This is the same Judgment as Bro. Branham was told behind the curtain of time.
They go from strength to strength, [every one of them] in Zion
appeareth before God.
Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
Read Hebrews 11 and take the last six or eight verses of it, how, "They wandered
about in deserts, and--and wearing sheepskins and goatskins, and was destitute,
and afflicted, and tormented." Those people there, how will our testimony stand
up against theirs in the day of the judgment (See?), those people in
that day?
40 EPHESIAN.CHURCH.AGE -- JEFF.IN -- ROJC 131-183 -- 60-1205
Look
what Paul said in the Book of Hebrews the 11th chapter, said they was sawed
asunder and pulled apart, wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, and was...
a desert and destitute and so forth, lives that this world's not worthy of.
There you are! That life's worthy of the Gospel. How's mine and yours
going to stand in the day of judgment with man like that?
259 IS YOUR LIFE WORTHY -- JEFF. IN -- V-5 N-5 -- 63-0630.2E
What a wonderful statement from the Prophet, and what a great responsibility for each individual believer, every saint is personally accountable for him or herself, the failures of others will not be an excuse for me or for you. We will be rewarded by the Lord Jesus as individual "overcomers" on that day as Romans 3:4, Romans 2:16, Luke 6:23, Colossians 3:24, Hebrews 11:6, James 1:12, 2 John 1:8 and Revelation 22:12 tell us.
...yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written,
That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest
overcome when thou art judged.
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus
Christ according to my gospel.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward
is great in heaven...
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the
inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is
tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has
promised to them that love him.
Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have
wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
And behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give
every man according as his work shall be.
The last verse is from the "Alpha and Omega" Himself, He exhorts us to remain steadfast until that blessed day. In Revelation chapters 2 and 3 we read seven times " to him that overcometh will I give...". All the saints of all ages will be gathered at the Judgment Seat of Christ to receive our righteous rewards. In Hebrews 10: 35 to 37, Paul warns every believer to hold on to this promise, and Luke 14:14 tells us that it will take place at, or just before, the resurrection of the just.
Cast
not away therefore your confidence, which has great
recompense of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the
will of God, ye might receive the promise.
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come,
and will not tarry.
... for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
There is a very specific reason why there must be a Judgment of the righteous and why it has to be BEFORE the resurrection of the dead in Christ, it would make no sense to be any other way and at any other point in time.
THE PENALTY FOR SIN WILL BE LIFTED.
In the natural, a person who has committed a crime is taken to court to receive the appropriate punishment from a qualified judge. It can happen that at a later stage the authorities discover new evidence to prove that this person was not guilty of that crime, it was committed by someone else. The prisoner has to be released, but that can only be done after the verdict of another court case proves him innocent. The judge has to authorise and sign the release papers, the sentence has to be officially changed from "guilty" to "not guilty" before the person can be set free.
In Genesis chapter 3 we read how the fall of man came about, God came down to enforce the first Judgment on earth. Eve blamed the serpent and Adam blamed Eve, but the LORD God charged and sentenced the serpent, Eve and Adam separately, He punished them for their own personal transgressions. God charged Adam for heeding to the voice of his wife more than to His Voice, He cursed the ground and decreed that in sorrow and sweat Adam would have to make a living until his body would return back to the ground again from which it was taken. The LORD God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, away from the splendour and immortality to take care of themselves until they die.
Because our bodies are made from the cursed dust of the earth, we are born in sin, shaped in iniquity, coming into this world speaking lies. We can not help ourselves, but we can accept or reject God's only provided way to be saved and redeemed by the Blood of Jesus with the promise to be restored again one day as man was before the fall.
Before the foundation of the world, in His infinite mind, God foresaw in minute detail everything that would ever exist and everything that would happen, not only on earth, but all over the whole universe. He knew that the fall of man would come, He arranged and saw in His unlimited mind how one day His very own Word made flesh would suffer and die on the cross to pay the penalty for every sin, and the price for the redemption of the souls and the bodies of His fallen sons and daughters. Every human being who sets foot on this earth is a free moral agent, God made us all like that so that all have a personal choice to judge themselves, but God foreknew who would and who would not accept His freely offered way of salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
The title "the Bride" is a collective name for a fixed number of the predestinated multitude of individual sons and daughters of God, the blood-washed and born again saints whose names and Holy Spirit inspired works and deeds are recorded and sealed in the Lamb's Book of Life. Almost all of them have lived their life on earth at different times and ages, they passed their tests and trials and prevailed over "the gates of hell". They died sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is the earnest of our inheritance until the day of Redemption as Ephesians 1:11 to 14 and other Scriptures explain. Those souls are waiting and resting in the Heavens, in that glorious resting place yonder, while their decayed natural bodies are in the grave under the earth, or in the sea. (Revelation 5:3 and 13).
THE PURPOSE OF THE LORD'S COMING
The endtime Bride is waiting for the very last one of the Bride members to receive the Message and be sealed with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That will be at the start of a religious persecution to test and try us, only the genuine, true believers will overcome and survive according to Revelation 13:8. We will reject the mark of the Beast and will be kept alive through a powerful demonstration of the Holy Spirit among us to supply the needed "manna" by the power of the third Pull. At a certain point in time, the souls of the little remnant will leave their bodies "on earth" (Revelation 5:13) and be translated to join all the dead saints of all ages behind the Curtain of time to partake in the greatest event in human history, the coming of the Lord Jesus.
When Eve disregarded God's Word and accepted the serpent's lie, her soul committed the deadly sin, the following act in the flesh was her second failing. Adam partook in this act to save his wife, he knew it was wrong, but he also knew that God would make a way of redemption. The curses and punishments they received from the righteous Judge are still upon mankind, we hear and see of sorrow, pain, sickness and death all around us.
That would continue forever, it was spoken by the LORD God and can not just run out, it can not fizzle out to nothing and peter away as most believers would like to believe. It will need another Judgment to change that sentence upon mankind. Like in the natural, it needs another court case, an appeal court to repeal and nullify, abolish, overrule and officially change the sentence from "guilty" to "not guilty" by a qualified Judge. That is the very reason and purpose of the "Judgment of the righteous", it is not for the world or makebelievers, it is for the elected Bride members only and them alone because they have believed the revealed Word of the hour and have stood firmly for the truth against their opponents, contrary to Eve's disbelief.
At the first Judgment for sin in Eden, God the Judge charged Adam and Eve, He put the blame on both of them for their unholy faults and sinful failures. Let us read from the Bible the "charge sheet" that will be presented to change that first sentence from "guilty" to "not guilty". We combine 1 Corinthians 1:8, Ephesians 1:4 and 5:27, Colossians 1:22 and 28, 1 Thessalonians 3:13 and 5:9 and 23, Titus 2:13 and 14, James 1:12, 1 Peter 1:7, 2 Peter 3:14 and Jude 24.
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may
be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without blame
before him in love:
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not
having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should
be holy and without blemish.
...to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
...that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in
holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain
salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray
God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing
of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all
iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people zealous
of good works.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is
tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath
promised to them that love him.
...might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the
appearing of Jesus Christ:
...be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace,
without spot, and blameless.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling,
and to present you faultless before the presence of his
glory with exceeding joy.
No wonder the Prophet calls this event the "most sublime thing in the Scriptures". All the saints who have purified their souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit and being born again by the Word of God, their new names and righteous deeds and good works are recorded and sealed on the backside of the Book, in the section called the Lamb's Book of life. Every one will be judged and declared faultless, blameless and holy by the righteous Judge, the bloody Lamb, at that Sealopening of Revelation 5:6 to 8:1 on the day of Redemption of our souls and bodies when we will be fully adopted after having passed the test of life to God's satisfaction.
Every Messenger had a great responsibility to deliver the Message for the time and age he was sent to, all those believers will be judged for their obedience and adherence to those respective portions of the revealed Word of God. The endtime Message, since the opening of the seven written Seals in 1963, contains the complete and full Revelation of Jesus Christ. Brother Branham knew very well the enormous task which was committed to him to deliver this Message which contains all the spiritual food necessary to build up the genuine believers into the stature and image of Jesus Christ.
We got to stand before You;
when You're not in Your pleasing manner, when You're not with mercy, when You're
standing without mercy; when You're standing angry, to bring judgment upon the

231 PROVING HIS WORD -- L.A. CA -- V-18 N-3 -- 65--0426
Brother Branham served the Lord with great rigour, he drove himself to the limit of human endurance to make sure that nobody's blood is on his hands. Time and again he said, "I have to answer for what I say", or "I'm responsible for every word", or "I have to give an account for this", or "I've got to meet you at the Judgment Seat of Christ".
BEHIND THE CURTAIN OF TIME
In May 1960 something extra ordinary happened to the Prophet. Waking up early one morning, he sat up in his bed and while he was pondering about his ministry, he was taken out of his body and translated behind the Curtain of time, into the first Heaven as he called it. He looked back and saw his body sitting on the bed next to his sleeping wife. In front of him were fields with grass, and from the right and left side came thousands of young men and women running up to him to hug and greet him saying, "our precious brother". A voice of someone explained to him that this multitude was his converts, they were converted by his ministry and had died and were waiting there in Heaven for the coming of the Lord. Brother Branham asked to see the Lord Jesus, but he was told that he could not see Him then, He is higher up, but one day He will come and judge him and his converts.
Let us stop here and compare the last sentence with the Scriptures. Psalm 50: 1 and 2 (same as Luke 17:24, Malachi 1:11 and Psalm 19:4 to 6) tells us that as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so would the 7 church ages unfold and proceed from the east to the west. Verse 3 in Psalm 50 explains the first part of the coming of the Lord, Jesus in the form of the Holy Spirit descending with the shout through the Prophet's ministry, crying with a loud voice as when a lion roareth, as Revelation 10:3 puts it. We have several photographs showing the Pillar of Fire before and around about the Prophet. But verses 4 to 6 are the most important ones to confirm the Prophet's outstanding experience in the first Heaven.
He shall
call to the heavens from above, and to the earth,
that he may judge his people.
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made
a covenant with me by sacrifice.
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for
God is judge himself. Selah.
Ephesians 4:10 explains that when Jesus ascended up to Heaven, He ascended "far above all Heavens" where He sat down on the right hand of the Father's Throne. In Psalm 50:4, at the end of time, He calls from "above all Heavens" to the Heavens below Him where the souls of all the saints who had died are, AND to the earth where we, the living saints are waiting for that summons. He calls to gather all His saints together, the living and the dead, all the individual saints who are part of the Blood Covenant, in the Old and the New Testament.
Every one has made personal sacrifices, in words and deeds, which are recorded on the backside of the sealed Book. Those noted sacrifices will be the evidence to confirm us as an "overcomer", to justify the full redemption of our souls and bodies. How could a soul that is already in Heaven be condemned at the end at this Judgment? That is impossible, everyone will have praise of God. Verse 5 says, "Gather my saints together..." the Prophet tells us that this gathering will be behind the Curtain of time, the same place where he had been.
Across the land, God judges a man's soul, what
he is...
And especially we shepherds of the flocks, we pastors who someday will gather
yonder in that glorious land with the little flocks, and we will stand in
the Presence of the Lord Jesus and we will see that generation come up, of Paul,
and of Peter, and of Luke, and Mark, and Matthew, and all them, and see
them judged there with their groups. God, grant that I can lay ten million
trophies at Your feet...

through all the ceaseless ages there." That's the coming of the Lord.
All right.
213 TEN VIRGINS -- JEFF. IN -- ROJC 425-492 -- 60-1211.1M
The Prophet continued his description of his experience behind the Curtain of time, he was told that every leader would be judged with the saints they had preached to. The Apostles John and Paul endorse this emphatically in 1 John 4:17 and 1 Corinthians 4: 4 and 5.
Herein
is our love made perfect, that we may have
boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is,
so are we in this world.
...but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come,
who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness,
and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then
shall every man have praise of God.
What a perfect proof, Paul himself confirms that he will be judged by the Lord at His coming. He explains the Lord's threefold coming, first to "unseal" and bring to light the previously hidden full Revelation of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit through the Prophet, then a short and powerful demonstration of the Spirit among the saints to manifest the counsels of the heart with another display like Ananias and Sapphira. Then the third fold will be this Judgment of all the saints of all ages, including Paul, where every man will have praise of God.
In 2 Timothy 4:7, Paul verifies again that he has nothing to fear because he has fought a good fight and he kept the faith, in verse 8 he clarifies the importance of this Judgment once more, it is only for those who love the appearing of the Lord Jesus.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
THIS JUDGMENT IS BEFORE THE RESURRECTION
Brother Branham's translation to the first Heaven is perfectly scriptural. The few living saints who will follow the leading of the Holy Spirit all the way to the end, they will also be translated in the same manner as the Prophet was and to the same place to join the dead saints to partake in this Judgment. This great event is before the resurrection of the dead and the changing of our bodies as we have already seen in many places. The dust of the earth can only release the new glorified bodies after the Kinsman Redeemer has judged the souls of the saints to be blameless, faultless and holy, after the curses which God put on man in Genesis 3 have been lifted and cancelled.
Said, "Jesus will come, and you'll be judged according
to the Word that you preached us. And then, if you are accepted at that time,
which you will be," and said, "then you will present us to Him as your trophies
of your ministry." Said, "You will guide us to Him and all to-gether
we will go back to earth to live forever."

382-4 THE FIFTH SEAL -- JEFF. IN -- 63-0322
In 1 Peter 4:5, the Apostle explains that we who have escaped the lusts of the world answer to no one, but we shall give an account to Him that's ready to judge the living and the dead. In verse 6 he describes who "the dead" are, that's the saints who died after they received and believed the Gospel preached to them during their lifetime in their fleshly body as also 2 Corinthians 5:10 confirms. They are dead, but they live according to God in their Theophany bodies in the Heavens till they give an account to the Lord at the end of all things (verse 7).
For for
this cause was the gospel preached also to
them that are dead, that they might be judged according
to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Yonder, the dead in Christ told Brother Branham that they are waiting there for the coming of the Lord to be judged first, together with the living saints, and then they will be resurrected. Hebrews 9 confirms this, verse 27 says precisely the same as what they told the Prophet, and verse 28 is a very lovely Scripture for the living saints to consider earnestly.
And as
it is appointed unto men once to die,
but after this the judgment:
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;
and unto them that look for him shall he appear the
second time without sin unto salvation.
Revelation 5:6 to 8:1, the Sealopening on the backside of the Book and this Judgment of righteousness is one and the same event. Under the fifth Seal, in Revelation 6:10, those Jewish souls under the altar cried out and said:
And they
cried with a loud voice, saying, How long,
O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge
our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
These Jews witnessed this Judgment at the Sealopening, they observed that every saint was rewarded and declared holy, blameless and perfect and they saw them entering into the joys of the Lord. They also realised that the righteous Judgment of the Bride condemned all those who are not included, they will all go into the great tribulation where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Those souls under the Altar do not want to be left out, they cry out because they also want to be judged and be declared holy and perfect, but they are told that they must wait for a little season till they have their own Judgment of righteousness with the 144 000 as explained in Revelation 11:18.
According to Malachi 4:5, on the great and dreadful day of the Lord, at the coming of the righteous Judge, the hearts of those few saints who have truly been turned back to the original faith of the Pentecostal fathers will overflow with great joy. We will know that the time of the redemption of our souls and bodies has arrived. But the same day will be most dreadful for those who realise that they lack the necessary oil in their lamps to be invited to this glorious Judgment of the righteous saints.
And it's the most blessed time for the believer, for his redemption
is at hand. There's two factions in the earth tonight, the believer and unbeliever.
The one the Lord is coming to receive, and the one the Lord is coming to condemn.
At His Coming, will bless one and will curse the other, at His
appearing.

You're a believer. I knew that by the welcome of your spirit,
that you are a Christian, a believer.
And you realise that you, and I, both are going to have to stand at
the Judgment seat of Christ. That's right.
E-56 FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD -- HAMMOND. IN -- 52-0715
I've got to meet up there with you. Then I've got to
give an account of my life here on earth. And with the deepest of sincerity
I--I try to be honest and faithful to Jesus Christ. And at that day that I will
have not regret. For I want my title read clear at that time.
E-5 DO YOU NOW BELIEVE -- W.PALM BEACH. FL -- 53-1206
One of these days, the doors of the Tabernacle will be closed
for the last time; the Bible will be closed on the pulpit. And you'll stand
in the Presence of God to give an account for what you've heard tonight. What
then? What then? When the great Book is opened, what then? When tonight
comes on record, what then?
293 THE SEAL OF GOD -- JEFF. IN -- V-26 N-4 -- 54-0514
And someday I will have to stand in His Presence to give an
account for my stewardship here on earth. But with all my heart, the words that
I desire to hear Him say that time is, "Well done." And it'll over then. And
I want to meet every one that I've ever ministered to in His Name here
on earth, plus the millions and millions that others ministered to.
E-8 THE SECOND COMING -- PHOENIX. AZ -- 55-0220.1A
God knows us both. And someday, God, and you, and I

E-31 WILLIAM BRANHAM SPEAKS -- LAUSANNE. SWITZERLAND -- 55-0826
I've never seen you, but one of these days you and I are going
to stand in the Presence of Jesus Christ when He's in His glorified body and
give an account. I want you to believe, and you'll know whether the--whether
these things are true or not. You be the judge.
E-86 FAITH -- CHARLOTTE. NC -- 56-0427
Now, you're the judge... I'm going to stand at your faith at
the Judgment Bar. And you're going to give an account for what you do with
this message this afternoon. Your mind, the way you're thinking now, is
going to vibrate on God's radar screen at the Day of Judgment. If it's a thousand
years from today, it'll still vibrate.
E-61 WHY SO MANY HARD TO LIVE CHRISTIAN LIFE -- PHX. AZ -- 57-0303.1A
And may every officer of the church fill his post of duty, knowing
this, that God is going to hold you responsible for how you held your office
in the church. Each one will have to give an account.

31 THE SIGN OF THE MESSIAH - JEFF. IN - EM 41-58 - 59-0329.3E
And when the books is closed of earth's actions, and
when they are finished and we stand at the judgment bar, may it be said that
when this meeting comes to be read off at that great day that literally hundreds,
yes thousands, will raise their hands in joyful tones, that it was at that meeting
that I found Jesus as my Saviour.
E-10 PROPHET LIKE UNTO MOSES -- SAN JOSE. CA -- 59-1120
Someday I will close my Bible for the last time. I've got to
meet God and give an account for every one of you. And every person to... I
guess I've preached direct or indirect to twenty or thirty million people around
the world, seven times around. And I--I--I know I've got to answer for that.
And I've got to be in the deepest of sincerity and know that I'm telling them
the truth.

remember me in prayer, that I will meet God in the forgiveness of my sins
before I have to meet Him in judgment."
E-84 FROM THAT TIME -- DAWSON CREEK. BC -- 61-0520
How many ever seen that picture? When I meet you at the judgment

I'm standing right now.

299 MODERN EVENTS MD CLR BY PRPHCY - SBD. CA - V-7 N-6 - 65-1206
Isaiah 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment,
and her converts with righteousness .
The Judgment of the righteous, the Sealopening on the backside of the Book, the full Adoption and the day of Redemption of our souls and bodies is one and the same event. The Lord Jesus will fulfil all that on the Lord's day when He leaves the Mercy Seat and physically comes down to meet all the saints of all ages behind the Curtain of time before the resurrection of the dead in Christ.
The main objective and purpose of the endtime Message is to prepare the saints for that very occasion, because the Lord is coming for "them that look for Him" and for those who "love His appearing". How can you look for Him and love His appearing if you have never heard of it? All these years since 1977 as a Message believer, I have not once heard a minister preach this vital truth correctly. That is hard to believe, but it is a fact, no wonder the Prophet said that just one or two here and there will make it! This chapter and all the previous ones on this website are not just another doctrine, all the quotes and Scriptures prove it over and over again to be the truth, may the Holy Spirit Himself confirm that to every individual believer personally. The Prophet said:
I
don't care how sincere you are, take man for your leader instead of
the Holy Spirit to confirm this Word, that's the hour you die!
148 GOD'S PROVIDED PLACE OF WORSHIP - SHP. LA - V-7 N-4 - 65-1128.1M
THE SAINTS SHALL JUDGE THE WORLD
On that Easter morning when our Lord Jesus rose from the dead, He told Mary that He will ascend unto "My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God" before she can touch Him. On that same morning, he went up to Heaven before the Father and the heavenly Host to be “judged” and accepted as the perfect Overcomer of death, hell and the grave. Then the fullness of the Spirit of God came upon Him again, and He came back proclaiming that “All Power is given unto Me...”
At His second coming, The same Lord Jesus will judge His Bride and accept each and every one as an overcomer of the tests and trials by obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Message of the time in which they lived on earth. Then the Lord will incarnate Himself into His spotless Bride, when He takes His Own Throne in our hearts to direct our thinking, talking and actions for all Eternity.
The third Judgment will be the White Throne Judgment where the Bride, the saints will judge their adversaries. How could we judge them justly, and even Angels? It will not be us, but the incarnated God in us Who will be the Judge by and through our bodies.
All right. Notice, the rest of the dead, church members, lived not again until one thousand years was passed. The church members, the--the Christians, the church lived not again until the end of the thousand years, and then they come forth to stand before the Bride (That's right.), stand before the King and the Queen. Glory.
Some church today calls herself "The Queen of heaven." The Queen of heaven is the selected Bride of Christ, and she comes with Him.
Daniel saw it and said: "Ten thousands times ten thousands ministered to Him." Now, if you'll watch the Scripture there in Daniel. Judgment was set , and the books were opened.
Now, remember, when He come, He come with His Bride. The wife ministers to her husband. And ten thousands times ten thousands of thousands ministered to Him. Judgment was set, and the books were opened, and another book was opened which is the Book of Life. Not the Bride at all, she's done gone up and come back and standing there in judgment of those generations that refused the Gospel message.
132-5 {106} FIRST SEAL THE -- JEFF.IN -- 63-0318
The Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 6: 2 and 3:
Do ye not know that the saints shall
judge the world ?
and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy
to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels ? how much more
things that pertain to this life?
This is confirmed again in Revelation 20:4, the Bride of all ages will be sitting on Thrones and the Judgment was given unto them. The Bride consists of Old Testament sages and Prophets, and the Christians of the early Church, who were anointed with the lion spirit. Some were beheaded by the heathens for their witness of Jesus, and those millions of steadfast believers who died for the Word of God by the sword of the red horse rider during the dark ages. The Bride also includes the saints throughout the reformation who, with the wisdom of the man, refused to worship and pay tribute to the beast, and the last day Bride members who will refuse to receive the mark of the beast which will be enforced on all mankind by the pale horse rider.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and
judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls
of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped
the beast, neither his image, neither had received his
mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they
lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Now, at the end of the time, how many knows that the Bible says that "the saints shall judge the earth"? Paul said so. Let's turn now to--to the Book of Daniel and get the White Throne. We could get it out of Revelation but I like to take it out of Daniel, it's the same thing. Daniel 7, and we will catch the--
the great White Throne Judgment here.
194 TEN VIRGINS -- JEFF. IN -- ROJC 425-492 -- 60-1211.1M
Where's the Throne at now ? In the heart. In the heart of who? The members of the Seven Church Ages, Christ! "Speak a word against, or action, you're condemned," you'll answer for it in the Day of Judgment. And who will judge the earth? Saints shall judge the earth .
280 REV CPT. 4 PT. 2. 24 ELDERS - JEFF. IN - ROJC 585-643 - 61-0101
..."know ye not that the Saints shall judge the earth?" We will sit with Christ and judge kings and priests, and judge these people that we preached to and told them about the baptism of the Holy Ghost and they refused to receive It. Think of it!
58 GOD BEING MISUNDERSTOOD - JEFF. - COD 597-646 - 61-0723.2E
Revelation 3:21, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne , even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne." See, the bride is with Him in the throne . As she is to judge the world she has to be sitting in the judgment with Him.
275-1 SARDISEAN CHURCH AGE -- CHURCH AGE BOOK CPT.7
The Bible and the Message are very clear about the fact that every person who ever lived on earth will appear before God to give an account for his or her life. Whether it is the holiest saint, or the vilest sinner, every one's life was foreseen by God before the foundation of the world and each one is recorded in one of those four books mentioned in the church age book on page 280. Those who are recorded in the Lamb's Book of life will be judged in righteousness at the second coming of the Lord. His Bride will be found and accepted as faultless and blameless overcomer in His sight.
The rest of humanity will appear at the White Throne Judgment where the other three Books will be opened, and they will be judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. May we judge the Message and the Bible correctly by every word with the help of the Holy Spirit, that when we will meet the examining Judge, we will look upon Him and hear Him say: “Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of the Lord.”
