About a year after I became a Message believer, someone gave me a copy of The Reader's Digest. It was dated February 1978, and at the back of the book I found one of the most fascinating articles I have ever come across. This story was a condensed version of a book called THE FIRE CAME BY, and The Reader's Digest published this section in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of something that happened in central Siberia on June 30, 1908. On the morning of that fateful day, an unusual catastrophe occurred, an enormous explosion unlike any the earth had ever experienced happened above Tunguska in eastern Russia. According to the December 1977 edition of Astronomy, the force of the explosion was at least equal to the largest thermonuclear bomb made today by either Russia or the United States. The question of the cause of this event remains as one of the most intriguing and baffling of all the known scientific puzzles and they have no sensible answer to it.

This book section in The Reader's Digest started this amazing story with the presumption that a huge object hurtled from space and pierced the earth's atmospheric shell. In a long, sloping path it rocketed northwards across the Himalayan mountains and the Asian mainland while intense heat built up from the friction with the atmosphere. Caravans winding through the Gobi desert in the western part of China stopped to look in awe as this object on fire blazed across the sky, glowing with a heat of some 3000 degrees. Inhabitants of the small towns and remote villages in central Russia were terrified by a deafening roar.

This first introduction of this “object” and it's flight directions might be a presumed fiction account from the author of the book, but the following versions are documented facts that really happened.

At 7.17 a.m., the central Siberian plateau near the Stony Tunguska river shudders under the impact of an violent explosion. This sparsely populated and desolate region of peat bogs and pine forests is shaken by this devastating blast that the seismographic centre in Irkutsk, 890 kilometres to the south, registers tremors of earthquake proportions. Instantly, a gigantic pillar of fire flares up high into the sky; the air is racked by a series of thunderous claps that can be heard for a distance of a 1000 kilometres. Simultaneously, a searing thermal current sweeps across the hilly northern woods called the taiga, scorching the tall conifers and igniting fires that will burn for many days.

Within little more than five hours of the blast, turbulent air waves travel west across the North Sea, causing strong oscillations at meteorological stations in Britain and other countries. The magnitude of this blast was further confirmed when it was determined from worldwide barographic records that these air waves had traveled twice around the world. Even more astounding is the appearance of massive luminous “silvery clouds” at high altitudes, blanketing Siberia and northern Europe. The light is so intense during the next few nights that in some places it is possible to take photographs at midnight. Extraordinary dust clouds and eerie nocturnal displays are observed for weeks across Europe, and as far south as Spain, a phenomenal spectacle nobody can explain.

It is hard to comprehend, but because of the political upheavals and social turmoil and the chaotic conditions in Russia at that time, nobody investigated this most extraordinary explosion near the Stony Tunguska river in Siberia. A few years later, a Russian scientist by the name of Kulik tried to organize a team to visit the area where this explosion had taken place, but he was not successful, and in the end he undertook to explore the area by himself. As the exact location of this explosion was not known at that point in time, he first gathered as many newspaper reports and eyewitnesses as he could find. A newspaper in Irkutsk related that on a June morning in 1908, in a village north of Kirensk, peasants saw “a body shining very brightly.” It moved vertically downwards for about ten minutes. The body was cylindrical, in the form of a pipe. The newspaper related that after the bright object fell, a huge cloud of black smoke was formed and a crash as if from gunfire was heard. All the buildings shook, and at the same time a forked tongue of flame broke through the cloud. The villagers dashed out into the streets in absolute panic, convinced that this was the end of the world.Other newspapers and eye witnesses accounts spoke of a fire in the sky brighter than the sun which was followed by terrible heat and shock waves. But despite the sheer force and the terrific extent of this mighty blast, not one single person was recorded to be killed in this catastrophe.

After Kulik had gathered as much information as he possibly could and had estimated the direction according to the accounts of the eye witnesses at different locations, he set of with his pack horse in search of the place where this explosion had taken place. He laboured through this vast expanse of desolate and endless forests, not knowing what to expect and what he might find. Once again he made his way up another one of the many hills along the way, but reaching the top, the landscape suddenly had altered completely. Before him, as far as he could see, all the trees had been ripped out of the ground and blown down by some strange force. Some trees had been almost burned to cinder, others which were sheltered by the uneven terrain had strange burnmarks on one side only. Kulik realized that whatever force caused this mighty destruction was accompanied with a searing heat wave. He observed that all the trees where lying in the same direction, revealing the fact that this blast must have come from a central point.

Stepping over the singed trees, he continued his journey, taking note that the direction of the trees changed slightly as he went along. Measuring the distance he walked, and calculating the change of the angle the trees were lying, he could roughly work out the huge circle of the area which was destroyed by this explosion. Then, following the direction of the fallen trees, he headed towards the center. Along the way, the trees were burnt more and more till there was no more vegetation, and then several kilometres of the swampy ground appeared to have been blasted and tortured into a landscape like the waves on a stormy sea. “The solid ground,” read one of Kulik's reports, “heaved outwards from the spot in giant waves, like waves in water,” and he supposed it “actually must have splashed outwards in every direction.” It is hard to imagine that something like that is possible.

Naturally, there were many ideas and theories expressed by the people as to the origin of this big blast. A direct hit from a meteorite was regarded as the most likely cause, Kulik himself could not think of any other option. Therefore, he expected to find a huge crater at the center of this tortured and devastated piece of land. But to his surprise, beyond this ring where the destruction was the worst, he found a big area were the trunks of the trees still stood upright, but all the branches were stripped off by an explosion which obviously could only have taken place above those trees. There were no traces of any craters or any foreign bodies such as meteorites found anywhere.

Many years after Kulik's one man expedition, the Russian Government eventually sent a delegation to the area for further investigation of this phenomenal event. They mapped out how far and wide the devastation extended, but they could not find any more significant details than those which were already recorded by Kulik.

On the 6th of August 1945, the Americans dropped the first atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima in Japan which destroyed most of the town. Shortly after the war had ended, a international delegation was invited to visit this devastated place to see and study the effect and extent of the destruction which the detonation of this atomic bomb had caused. One of these delegates was a scientist from Russia who had been a member of the team which had inspected and examined the scene of the Tunguska disaster. To his surprise, he noticed the destruction which the shock and heat waves had inflicted upon the ground in Hiroshima were the same as he had seen before in Siberia. Buildings had been flattened just as the giant larches were tossed about. The particular way the trees were scorched, the whole pattern of the levelling of everything near the centre and further afield was the same. At Hiroshima, a few hundred metres from the blast centre was a group of trees, charred and stripped of their leaves, but still standing upright. Like those in Siberia, they were not knocked over because the blast had come from almost directly above. The mushroom cloud and the black rain which fell after the blast, were both similar to what had been seen and experienced in Russia on the 30th of June 1908.

A nuclear bomb in 1908? The idea makes no sense! But all these phenomena, the thermal wave, the primary and secondary shock waves, the vacuum damage and the final firestorm left the same indelible marks both in the Hiroshima and Siberian blast. Just as the Japanese survivors first saw a “blinding flash” or “sheet of sun” in the sky, many Siberian witnesses recalled that the 1908 flash of fire which suddenly appeared over the Tunguska was “brighter than the sun.” As at Hiroshima, this brilliant blaze in the sky over Siberia was accompanied by terrible heat, and then the shock wave.

From the numerous witnesses in Siberia who actually saw the object before it exploded in the sky, it is known that it was of considerable size and had a “cylindrical” shape, like a pipe or a tube. This elongated flaming object was glowed with a “bluish-white” radiance, it left a broad trail of differently coloured smoke in the atmosphere. The destroyed area in Japan totalled 46,5 square kilometres; that near the Tunguska river was 2000 square kilometres. At Hiroshima, severe heat was felt five or six kilometres away; in Siberia, about 65 kilometres away. Soviet authorities and American experts have estimated that the released energy yield of the explosion was as high as 30 megatons, 1500 times as great as that at Hiroshima.

In The Reader's Digest, the author who wrote this condensed version of the book THE FIRE CAME BY declared that there can be no doubt that this explosion was atomic. He concluded that at this time, the nature of the explosion is clearly understood, but not its cause. Also the case is far from officially closed, many investigators believe that the Siberian holocaust was a high-altitude nuclear explosion, there can't be any other valid explanation. But the mystery of the event is not erased or even diminished by such knowledge, it is deepened instead. There remain many questions, difficult and so far unanswerable by any known natural cause: how could a nuclear blast occur at a time when mankind had only a limited grasp of nuclear physics and no atomic-bomb capability at all?

THE LINK TO MALACHI FOUR

As I have mentioned already, I came across this most amazing story at the beginning of 1978. I had come to accept and embrace the Message of the hour the year before that, and as a believer in the supernatural, I had a very strong feeling within myself that this event must be a sign from God. The 1906 earthquake at San Francisco is regarded by many as a disaster which humbled a lot of people and contributed greatly to the start of the Pentecostal movement at Azusa street in Los Angeles. But what could connect this massive catastrophe in Russia with the Message of the hour? It took place a year before Brother Branham was even born. Somebody mentioned the conception, which did take place the year before the Prophet was born. That thought turned out to be the key to open up a striking revelation, the link between Malachi four and this unexplained devastation at Siberia.

The duration of a natural human pregnancy is still a point of debate, but from doctors explanations and personal experience in our family, 280 days or 40 weeks seems to be the correct timespan under normal circumstances. The number 40 is significant in the Bible for a time of temptations and also as the number for deliverance. According to the perpetual calendar, the 30th of June 1908 was a Tuesday. We have the exact time of that explosion, it happened at 7.17 a.m., and adding the 40 weeks of pregnancy, we arrive at 7.17 a.m. on Tuesday the 6th of April 1909.

When I was born on April the sixth, 1909, about five o'clock in the morning...

Just two hours early, at 5 a.m. instead of 7 a.m.! Initially it was a awesome revelation, but despite the accuracy of the date and the closeness of the hours, I had a feeling that there was something which was not exactly right. I checked those dates time and again, it was right as far as I could see, but that perception that there was something that I had not taken into account was still present. I also took note that Brother Branham said that he was born later as expected, and not earlier.

I-I'm always late. I-I-I was late getting here, I was a little over nine months. And then I was... That's right. When I was born, I was a little over time, my mother said. And then when I got it, what education I got, I was always behind.

I prayed about this uncertainty and committed it into the hands of the Lord because I knew that this had to be absolutely right. After some time, I looked at the atlas to find the location where this blast had taken place. There was not much information, the article said that the explosion was near the Stony Tunguska river and 890 kilometres north of Irkutsk. I estimated that the centre of this disaster must have been between the 100 degree and the 105 degree longitude lines east of Greenwich. I found the birthplace of Brother Branham near the 86 degree longitude line on the western side.

Then I discovered what I had missed. The 102 degrees to the east, plus the 86 degrees to the west from Greenwich adds up to 188 degrees which means that the two locations are on the opposite side of the earth. Time wise, they are a little more than 12 hours apart. We can see now that when this blast took place in Siberia at 7.17 a.m. on the 30th of June, at the same instant it was still the 29th of June shortly after 7.17 p.m. in Kentucky where the conception occurred. The 280 days or 40 weeks of pregnancy ended on the 5th of April 1909 shortly after 7.17 p.m., but Brother Branham was born late as he said, about 9 hours later at 5 a.m. the next morning.

After this discovery, any feeling of uncertainty or doubt was gone and I am convinced that that blast at that isolated area at the central part of Siberia was one of the greatest signs ever given, I see it as a warning from Almighty God to mankind. It was symbolic, a foreshadowing of the end of the world at Armageddon. In 1908, the casualties were trees and botany life, but at Armageddon it will be the whole population of the world instead. In the Bible, trees often represent people. Jesus said:

Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make
the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

The Lord Jesus was actually talking of people, He compared them to fruit trees. In Luke 3:9, John the Baptist, the fore-runner of the first coming of Christ linked the unbelieving Jews to trees which produce bad fruit and will be cut down and cast into the fire. The Roman General Titus fulfilled that prophesy at Jerusalem in the year 70 A.D. Malachi 4 points to the last destruction at the end time.

1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all
the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the
day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that
it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

This last chapter in the Old Testament tells us of a certain day when the whole world will burn like an oven. This will take place after the Rapture, there will be no more genuine Christians left on the earth at that time. That mighty fiery blast in Siberia has been a very accurate type, it flattened and uprooted and scorched all the trees in the affected region, and those trees standing directly below the blast were stripped of all their branches. It did literally leave neither root nor branch. At night, a eerie glow of the fire burning like an oven and luminous clouds had been visible in some parts of Europe for weeks. But like always, the love and grace of God has made a way of escape before that dreadful disaster will take place.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness
arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow
up as calves of the stall.

The Prophet said that “healing in his wing” means healing campaigns. The explanations of the word calve, according to Webster's Dictionary, is “to produce by birth”, and “to become detached”. This verse of Scripture promises a healing campaign accompanied by a Message from the Lord which will produce a new birth for those who believe it, and it will detach them from all the wickedness and pride of this present world. Verses 5 and 6 explain how this promise will be fulfilled.

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming
of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and
the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite
the earth with a curse.

A Prophet who will be anointed with the Spirit of Elijah will come with this Message of deliverance before the dreadful day when God will smite the whole earth with this curse. We have seen that the massive atomic explosion in Siberia in Russia was a foreshadow, a prefigure of Armageddon which will wipe out this present world system. But while that prophetic blast took place, at 7.17 a.m. (local time) on the 30th of June in 1908, Mrs. Ella Branham conceived to bear her first son who was foreordained to be that Prophet. He was anointed with the Spirit of Elijah and he is the fore-runner of the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 1:5 applies to all the Prophets, but more so to Brother Branham because he is the first Prophet who's Message is sent to every nation, kindred and tongue.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out
of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

This is a striking discovery of Malachi four, it is a great warning sign before it actually will happen in reality while grace and mercy is still available. It reminds us of Luke 21:11.

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences;
and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

The numbers of Brother Branham's birthday also declare him to be the Prophet of Malachi four. He said many times that the number five represents love and grace, six is the number of man, four is God's number of deliverance and nine stands for imperfection. He was born at 5 o'clock on the 6th day of the 4th month in the 9th year of that century. The love and grace (5) of our Lord sent us the Prophet (6-man) with a perfect Message to deliver (4) us from our sinful and imperfect (9) lives and the wrath of God before the dreadful day when the Lord shall smite the earth with a curse.

THE CONNECTION WITH THE CLOUD

Every Message believer knows about another scientifically unexplained sight which occurred on the 28th of February 1963. Above Flagstaff in The United States of America, a enormous triangular-oval shaped cloud was observed over Arizona and some surrounding states. It was far too high, above the atmosphere where clouds can be formed. After a well known SCIENCE magazine reported this phenomenal event in their April 19, 1963 issue, LIFE magazine also published an article about this cloud in its worldwide distributed issue dated May 17, 1963. They reported that this great cloud has set off a continuing scientific mystery. Dr. J. E. McDonald had calculated by trigonometry from over eighty photos sent to him from different locations, that this cloud was at least 26 miles high and 30 miles across. It remained illuminated by the sunlight for 28 minutes after sunset. The highest clouds recorded are at an altitude of 18 miles, vapours from the testing of rockets, planes or bombs were also ruled out as a possible cause of the formation of this spectacular cloud. The two photographs below are copied from the LIFE magazine, the one on the right hand side was taken from about 160 miles east, its shape from that distance and angle was aptly referred to as a “hangman's noose.”

We understand what this cloud was all about, the face of our Lord Jesus can be seen in the centre of it. The white cloud like a wig over His head presents Him to be the supreme Judge, that is what He will look like at His coming, as John saw and described Him in Revelation 1:14.

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow;
and his eyes were as a flame of fire.

...that's supreme authority, He wears a wig. And that showed Him standing there, wigged by Angels' wings, He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the supreme Judge, and none other but Him... wearing a wig of white. Showing that He was Supreme, God...

...when seven Angels come down from God, visibly standing right there, and told me about the end time, and these revelations and things of the Book of Revelation, the seven Seals, and said, “Return home, and one by one will bring the Message.”

That white cloud was formed by seven Angels after sunset. A few days later, those Angels came sweeping down to meet Brother Branham who was hunting north of Tucson at a place called the Sunset mountain. Those seven Angels commissioned him to travel back to Jeffersonville for the opening of the seven Seals which took place in March 1963. We see here another great sign and supernatural demonstration of Malachi four, like that blast in Siberia. Both are warnings of the fierce Judgment at the coming of the Lord, and both are pointing to the only way of escape:

5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming
of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

A few years after I had received this remarkable revelation of how the Prophet is linked to that great explosion in Siberia, I looked once again at this event and pondered what might have been the real cause of that mighty blast. I felt a urgent need to get the original book called THE FIRE CAME BY, I just knew there would be something important in this book that would give a further explanation. After searching at all the city's libraries, I found the one and only copy in town. There was no doubt in my mind that I would find a photograph or some illustration in this book which would be of great help to identify this mysterious “object” which actually caused this great explosion. When I saw the map on the page below, I realized that this illustration must be what I was lead to look for.

I recognized the outline and shape of the devastated area immediately, I turned the page slightly to the left to adjust the “flight path” line A to B into the horizontal position. The shape of the destruction which this explosion has left on the ground would have to be the mirror image of the cloud up in the sky, just like Hoffman's head of Christ is also the mirror image of the same cloud.

...if you've got Look magazine or Life magazine. Turn it sideways. There He is, just perfectly, Hoffman's head of Christ, looking right down where I was standing; there it is in the magazine! How many's ever seen it?

By filling in a few details, we see the shape of the devastated area in Siberia and the photograph of the cloud to be almost the same. To my understanding, it is close enough to rule out a coincidence. I tried to establish the size of the destroyed area in Siberia, but the best available map which I could locate was rather small and not very detailed. Nevertheless, using the given scale and measuring the distance between the rivers as accurately as possible, the result of the calculation was that the width of the area in Russia is 48 km (30 miles), exactly the same as the scientists had calculated how wide the cloud was. I also estimated that the size of this blasted region was about 2600 square kilometres. We can safely say that the cloud and the flattened area in Russia are virtually the same size. These signs in the Heaven above and on the earth remind us of a Scripture in Acts 2:

19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the
earth beneath; blood , and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into
blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.

These signs in Heaven and on earth show us that those seven Angels Who were photographed up in the sky like a wig over the head of our Lord, and swept down to delegate the Prophet to prepare for the opening of the seven Seals, appear to be appointed to bring the final destruction upon the earth as it has been demonstrated as a prophetic prefigure in Siberia on the 30th of June 1908. Two verses in 2 Thessalonians 1 confirm that the Lord's mighty Angels will reveal Jesus (the Word) from Heaven, and the scientists took the pictures and sent them all over the world as a witness. But later, those same Angels will take vengeance on those who have rejected their Message of grace.

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus
shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Like those two Angels in Genesis 19 were appointed to burn up and destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, so will these seven mighty Angels be appointed to fulfill the anti-type of the Siberian disaster.

IN THE STATURE AND IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST

One of the most important parts of Brother Branham's Message is his explanation of these seven mighty Angels. In Revelation 1:4, They are referred to as seven Spirits before God's Throne, and in chapter 5:6, they are described as horns (meaning power) and eyes (see and know everything).

Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace
be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which
is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of
the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had
been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven
Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

The definition of the word Angel is a Messenger of God. The seven Spirits, or seven Angels, are the Messengers Who were sent forth into all the earth. First each one individually to each church age to anoint the earthly messenger, and in 1963 they were photographed together as a supernatural cloud and the photo was sent “into all the earth” by the LIFE magazine and other publications.

Now the salute. Now, the seven Spirits are... “The seven Spirits and the seven stars.” The Spirits was the Angels that went to the stars which were messengers. “Seven Spirits,” seven different times the Holy Spirit would anoint a messenger, which was a star in his day. A-a Spirit is Eternal, and the star that was made for a purpose to reflect Light in the dark of these church ages where candles and stars are representing. The Angel, the Spirit, was the One that went to the star and reflected the Light of the Holy Spirit through the star to that church age. That, you might wonder Who the seven Spirits are. It's the seven Messengers of the seven church ages. See? Now each time that the star came in on the scene, the Holy Spirit came down and anointed that star and kept it just exactly like the first one was.

Just exactly like He showed us the seven church ages, what would come. Just exactly what He showed us what would come when he set that Light up there, in revelation to it, to show the world. When He sent the seven Angels to reveal the seven messengers that had been down through there, and show the loose ends, each Angel coming each day and revealing the loose ends that Luther left, and Wesley left, and Pentecost left, is all represented in there. And in the very type and shadow of the great Shalom, Jehovah, Jvhu. See? Exactly. Throwed It in the skies, and there is the mechanical eye taking the picture of It. See?

And if you're listening to the tape of the “What Time Is It, Sir?” you will notice that one Angel was very notable to me. The rest of them just seemed ordinarily; but this Angel was a noted Angel. He was to my left in the constellation in a form of a pyramid. And you remember, it was in the pyramid where the mysterious white rock was not written on. And the Angels took me into that pyramid of Themselves-- the mysteries of God known only to them. And now, they were the Messengers that come to interpret that pyramid or that Message of the secret of these seven Seals which lays with inside the pyramid.

Those seven Angels know all the mysteries of God, which is much more than what was revealed to the public at the 1963 Sealsopening, and much more than we could grasp at this point of time in this spiritually limited world of five senses. But that which we do understand about the church ages, the seven Seals and all the other Bible doctrines, is the very foundation on which all further revelations will be built on. All the mysteries of God known by these seven Angels and preached by the seventh earthly angel according to Revelation 10:7, will finally “create” a few individuals who will understand and go all the way in the Word of God till they reach the full stature of the perfect man, to be in the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus. That will be the destined end result of the Gospel.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

That is one of the revelations of the mysterious cloud which appeared on the 28th of February 1963. We see the “image” of the Lord Jesus in the centre, “wigged” by the seven Angels who are holding all the mysteries of God's Word which will lead the true believers to the stature of the perfect Man. This is the continuation and final fulfillment of Genesis 1:26: “Let us make man in our image...”

“All the Father has given Me will come, not one will be lost. I'll raise it up at the last day. Not one hair of the head will even perish.” That is the beginning of the creation of God. This is the continuation of the creation of God. Then the whole earth has to have a baptism.

This can only happen at the end time. After each Angel had revealed His portion of the Word of God by and through the earthly star-messenger for His respective age during the past 2000 years, they came together to anoint the seventh earthly angel to reveal the full Revelation of Jesus Christ, and open the seven written Seals to the end time saints. The cloud was seen at the evening time after the sun had set, revealing that the “day” of the seven Gentile church ages is at the end.

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down
of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every
place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for
my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.

To be in the stature and image and likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ will have to be confirmed and manifested in words and deeds by the end time saints here on earth before we meet the Lord Jesus at His second coming in Glory. 2 Peter 1:4 to 8 tells us how we will become partakers of the Divine nature of our Saviour Jesus Christ and to be fruitful in the knowledge of Him.

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue;
and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience;
and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall
neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Faith – Virtue – Knowledge – Temperance – Patience – Godliness – Brotherly Kindness, those are the seven virtues which transform the believers into the stature of the perfect Man. Those virtues will be added if we believe all of God's Word and act upon it, then charity will cap it at the end.

When we heard about the end time message, we were justified by accepting it by FAITH, which is a gracious gift of God according to Ephesians 2:8. It is the very foundation for every believer, because without FAITH it is impossible to please the Lord as Hebrews 11:6 says.

When we heard and read the doctrines of the Bible, what a Christian should do and what is contrary to the Word of God, we gladly conformed our lives to line up with the commandments of the Bible. This obedience produces VIRTUE, a sanctified life as Paul explains in Philippians 4:8.

That obedience gives us the baptism of the Holy Spirit as Peter said in Acts 5:32. In 1 Corinthians 2:10 to 12 we read that the Spirit reveals the deep things which are freely given to us, that we might have the KNOWLEDGE of the things of God. In John 14:26 and 16:13 we read that the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, shall teach us all things and guide us into all truth, and show us things to come.

Then comes the testing, often from within the church. We see in 1 Corinthians 11:19 that there will be false doctrines among the churches that the Holy Ghost filled believers can be manifested and vindicated by the fruits of the Spirit. According to Galatians 5:22-23, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness and the all inclusive TEMPERANCE is above the law.

The Bible says in Mark 16:17 that the supernatural signs shall follow every true believer. But we see at this point in time that the manifestations of those signs are very few and far between among the saints. But those who understand the Message, they know that we are still in the “former rain”. But when the last Bride member has come into the fold and has received the “former or teaching rain”, then it will be time for the “latter rain”, a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Bride.

...the planting is just about over. See? All over. Seeds must be planted before the rain falls (is that right?) or otherwise the Spirit. Now you're going to disagree there, but hold on just a minute. Seeds must be planted and then the rain falls to water the seed.

An Angel is coming to bring the separation, the segregation between the right and the wrong. And no one can do that but the Angel of the Lord. But when the church once gets It, the Elect is called out and separated (set in the Presence of God), I know it'll be something like the people was there when it takes its Rapture.

THE SEVEN VIRTUES AND THE SEVEN VIALS

During the past 2000 years through the seven ages, the seven Angels, one at the time, anointed each church age messenger to reveal one of the virtues for each age. The Apostle Paul, who was the first one of the seven messengers, preached much about strong FAITH to turn many Jews from the law to grace and the heathens to Christianity during the Ephesus age. The VIRTUE and stand for the truth in the face of persecution of the Smyrna church in the second age is well known, their messenger was Irenaeus. The third Angel anointed the third earthly messenger Martin to teach and preach KNOWLEDGE of God's Word which those gallant saints needed to take a stand against all the false doctrines which were authorized at the Nicene church Council in A.D.325.

The Thyatira age was part of the dark ages, millions of Christians were killed. The Angel anointed them with the virtue of TEMPERANCE to chose death rather than compromise on the Word of God. The fifth Angel ordained the messenger Martin Luther in the Sardis age to start the Reformation, he preached justification and urged PATIENCE to prevent the people using the newly found freedom for radical and political ends. John Wesley was the messenger of the Philadelphian age. Led by the sixth Angel, he preached sanctification and holiness. That was the time of the open door when the missionaries spread the Gospel to every corner of the earth. Those godly men and woman entered previously unexplored countries and with the virtue of GODLINESS defied dangers and any kind of sickness, hunger and unknown deadly plagues to bring the Word of God to the lost and dying.

The year 1906 was the start of the Laodicean age when the Holy Spirit came down at a meeting in Los Angeles to start the Pentecostal movement. The believers spoke in tongues and supernatural signs and wonders were manifested among the saints, and soon the campaign spread all over the world. But in those early days of the Pentecostal churches, there was no earthly messenger like in all the other ages. In June 1933, as Brother Branham was baptizing some converts in the Ohio river in Jeffersonville, the Angel of the Lord in the form of a Light like a star came whirling down from the sky and a voice said, “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, so you will have a Message that will forerun the second coming of Christ.”

After the second world war, in May 1946, Brother Branham met the Angel of the Lord again. He had heard His voice since he was a child and he seen Him as a Light, but then he met this Angel in the form of a man for the first time. The Angel told the Prophet that he would have a worldwide healing campaign accompanied with the gift of discernment as an infallible sign to back up the Message he was commissioned to minister to the whole world. The churches were broken up into hundreds of different denominations and beliefs, and the Message was sent to heal those rifts, to put aside each unscriptural doctrine and denominational barrier and to unite with BROTHERLY KINDNESS as one great brotherhood under the vindicated Message to make ready for the coming of the Lord.

It is needless to say that this plan of God was rejected by the leaders of the churches. Nevertheless, God's plan does not change and all the mysteries of God were revealed. In 1962 the Prophet said many times that the Message had been delivered. Then, in February 1963, the cloud appeared to signify to the whole world that by these seven Angels all the previously sealed mysteries of the Bible would be opened up and revealed through the Prophet to prepare the people for the Lord's coming.

Seven Angels, just as clear as you're standing here, came sweeping down from Heaven. The rocks in the mountains rolled out and down the hills... And when it was, He said, “Return to your home. Now will be, each Angel will be one of the Seals of the seven Seals. Which, it's on tape. And the book will be out pretty soon, being now it's kind of grammarized.

But the church world took no notice as predicted in the Bible. Luke 14:15 to 24 tells us how today's Christians are making excuses and refuse to accept the end time Message of God's servant. And in Revelation 3:15 to 18 we read that they are in a lukewarm, wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked condition, but believe that they have everything. They could not take the necessary rebukes and chastening which are preached in the end time Message to line up the saints with the doctrines of the Bible and to bring each one all the way up to the stature and likeness of our Lord Jesus. They cannot understand that this is an expression of the love of God as explained in verse 19.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

There is the perfect man of God - when he possesses these virtues. Then God, representing His church as a Bride – a woman. God represents His church as a Bride, and the way He brings each individual to being His son to go in that Bride, He also has brought the Bride through these ages 'til He brings this one complete church into this...
...And this “being” when completed, is a servant of God in the church of God, that's going in the Rapture. Glory! See what I mean? There you are. There's the full thing.

According to verse 20, Christ the Word has been shut out by these different denominations, and He is knocking at the hearts of individual believers to open the door and hear and believe His voice, the voice of the seventh earthly angel, and to come out from among these organizations or the hedges and highways to replace those who have rejected the Lord's Message of grace. The leaders disliked this humble, uneducated but uncompromising Bro. Branham, even so none of them could deny the mighty manifestations of the Angel of the Lord in his ministry. Therefore, they did not only turn down the obedient messenger of the Lord, but the seven Angels, those seven Spirits which are before the Throne of God Who anointed Brother Branham to deliver the last Message to the Gentiles.

When the last foreordained Bride member has come to the knowledge of the truth and to the stature of Jesus Christ, all the saints of all ages will be fully redeemed on the day of Redemption, the living and the dead. After that, the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the changing of the bodies of the living saints and the Rapture of the Bride will take place. Then the dreadful Tribulation will start when the wrath of God will be poured out upon those who have rejected His grace and mercy.

...the day cometh that shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts,... it shall not leave them neither root nor branch (that's of the Tribulation and destruction, see, that's coming).

The great tribulation will be first, lasting for three and a halve years before the final destruction will take place at Armageddon. During the tribulation, the seven mighty Angels ,One by One, will take vengeance in flaming fire on those who ignored Their supernatural appearance above Arizona in February 1963, and turned down Their Message of deliverance. Then together, the Seven will bring the final destruction of the world as it was foreshadowed in type in Siberia in June 1908.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when
the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and
that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the
presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.

In Revelation 15 we read that seven vials full of the plagues of the wrath of God are given to these seven Angels to pour out upon the earth, because Their Messages which contain the seven virtues were rejected. A close look reveals that these vials are linked to the virtues, each vial is a revenge for rejecting the relevant virtue. Let us compare Revelation 16 with the seven virtues.

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels,
Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went , and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there
fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of
the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

At the coming of the Lord, there will be two kinds of people upon the earth. A few who will be sealed by the Holy Spirit and ready to meet the Lord Jesus, and the rest of the Gentiles will have the mark of the beast and will be on their way into the great tribulation. They will be under the dominion of the Antichrist because they did not have the virtue of FAITH to accept the end time Message, or they have never heard about it because the leaders failed to recognize it as the absolute truth.

3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became
as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

According to Revelation 13:1 and 17:15, the sea denotes people, multitudes, nations and tongues. The sanctifying Blood of the Lord Jesus produces VIRTUE, It separates the believers from the love of the world and the lust of the flesh (represented as the sea) and it creates a desire to be obedient to the Word of God. The second Angel's vial will bring a “bloody” death to those in the sea and later to the whole world because they rejected His ministry of sanctification and VIRTUE, they remained “worldly” and refused to be washed by the waters of the Word of God and become born again.

...the washing of the Water by the Word. The Word – not the denomination. The Word washed you. But if you won't stand in the Water of the Word, how are you going to be washed? You are still as spotted as Eve was... Think, your garments washed by the Water of the bleeding Word. The Word becomes Blood. The Word bled for you, and you are washed in bleeding Word.

In the Bible, the waters of rivers and fountains are often compared to the Holy Spirit. Jeremiah 2:13 tells us that God Himself is like a fountain of living waters (plural) and in Psalm 1 the rivers of water represent the flow of the Holy Spirit from the Throne of God to the believers. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit which was in the Blood of the Lord Jesus, It was released when He died at Calvary.

Rivers. What is that? The nine spiritual gifts, rivers of one water, one Spirit - one water, but coming from nine different resources. Rivers of water, see, rivers of water.

Because they had rejected the baptism of the Holy Spirit to receive the KNOWLEDGE of the plan of God, the third Angel poured out His vial upon the natural rivers and fountains to contaminate them with blood. In verse 6 we see that they will be forced to drink from these blood contaminated rivers and fountains to be able to survive, because under the influence of evil spirits they shed the blood of the saints. This could be a reference to a persecution which has been predicted to come.

My brethren give their life's blood. There's going to be more. It'll be the same thing. Don't worry. It's coming now. It'll be a show-down pretty soon. You'll either go in or go out. They're all affiliating now in the Council of Churches and all that's going in, they're all conglomerating together.

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed

During the fourth church age, millions of Christians were burnt alive as “heretics” at the stakes, and many more when their houses and sometimes whole villages were set on fire. Under the power of the Holy Spirit, ministered to them by this same Angel, those saints had the virtue of TEMPERANCE to withstand those evil forces. They even asked the Lord to forgive their tormentors.

In our church age, Brother Branham related a very interesting vision he received from the Lord. It is not about one meeting somewhere, but this vision covers his entire ministry, the whole Message.

And I thought that I was the happiest person I ever seen. I was standing in the sun, s-u-n, and was a – and was preaching the Gospel to a large, mammoth congregation (I just wanted to see if it was being taped) – a – a large mammoth congregation. And they were setting in a forest, and streaks of the sun was shining down on them, just here and there, a-getting it, getting the Word.

The greatest light that we know is the sun, nothing can live and grow on earth without the life giving rays of it, we could naturally not exist without the sun. We understand that everything in nature also has a spiritual meaning. The Prophet was preaching while he was standing in the sun, pouring down the spiritual blessings and healing for the body and the soul. This Message contains the full Word of God and everything which the saints require to inherit eternal life. And just as the sun ripens the fruit on the natural trees in the heat of the summer, so do the “streaks of sun” burn out the worldly dross to ripen the fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, TEMPERANCE etc. The Bible says that, “at evening time it shall be light.” The same sun that shone at the beginning in the east at Pentecost is the same sun shining at the west at the evening time by and through the Prophet's Message.

At the opening of the seven written Seals, when the full light of the Word of God was revealed, this fourth Angel was also present to anoint the Prophet to include the virtue of TEMPERANCE. At the great Tribulation, this fourth Angel is pouring out his vial upon the sun to torment those who have not received His part of the full revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. When they will be scorched by the fiery heat of the sun, the only “fruit” they can produce will be unrepentant blasphemy.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of
the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed
their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains
and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

The fifth virtue is PATIENCE, it is very important because the Lord Jesus said in Luke 21:19 that, “By your steadfastness and patient endurance you shall win the true life of your souls.” (Amplified Bible). To be steadfast and patient means to be waiting for a promise to be fulfilled, to be wise and enlightened about the coming of the Lord. The Apostle Paul explained the Lord's coming to the Thessalonians, and he told them to comfort one another with these words (4:18). He could not tell them when it will take place, because no one knows the time when our Lord shall come again.

1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness,
that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:
we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

To know the truth is to walk in the light, and PATIENCE is necessary to wait for the fulfilment of the prophetic events. Eve did not wait for the conclusion of the promise of God and accepted a shortcut which plunged the whole creation into spiritual darkness. The same test was given to Abraham, but he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, he waited patiently for 25 years against all human reasonings for the performance of the promise. The blind who are leading the blind will fall into the ditch because they are in the dark and do not know where to go. The Angel will pour the fifth vial upon the seat of the beast to fill his kingdom with darkness because they had refused the virtue of PATIENCE which is a test to see if we can believe the promises and stick to them to the end.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great
river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that
the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out
of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the
beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which
go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to
gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and
keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called
in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

At the moment, nobody can be further than the virtue of PATIENCE, because we are waiting at this time patiently for the last member of the Bride to accept the Message of the hour and come up to this virtue. Then the persecution will start, which will cause the Holy Spirit to come among the saints with a short and powerful “latter rain” outpouring with great and mighty signs and wonders.

You know, the hour will soon arise when – when right among us will be... the Holy Spirit will speak out like It did in Ananias and Sapphira. Remember, see, that hour is arriving. See? And we are... Now, now just remember that, see, that God is going to dwell among His people. That's what He wants to do now.

And as the false church with all cunning and diabolical power made up of political force, physical force and demons of darkness come against this true vine, the true vine with the fullness of the Spirit and the Word will do the very acts of power that Jesus did.

The gift of discernment will separate the true believers from anything else and produce the virtue of GODLINESS among them, and prepare them to be gathered together to meet the Lord Jesus at His coming in Glory. Towards the end of the great Tribulation, the sixth Angel will be pouring out His vial to release demonic powers to punish all those who have rejected His virtue. Unclean spirits will come out from the mouth of the Antichrist by which he will work miracles which will be broadcast all over the world to deceive all those who are under his dominion. By this evil satanic manifestation of a false “latter rain”, he will convince the people and prepare them to gather at Armageddon.

In May 1946, the seventh Angel appeared to Brother Branham and commissioned him to spearhead a revival that swept the whole world. It started with a unprecedented worldwide healing campaign to capture the attention of the whole church world, to make them realize that this ministry was indeed of God. Then followed the full revelation of all the biblical mysteries of God and the opening of the written Seals as foretold in the Bible in Revelation 10:7, 5:1-5, Malachi 4 and other Scriptures.

The purpose of the outpouring of the virtue of BROTHERLY KINDNESS was that the leaders of all the different denominations should have recognized this ministry as the same as the Lord Jesus had in His days on earth. Whether you're a Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Oneness, Twoness, Threeness, whatever you are, it makes no difference, as long as the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin and we have fellowship one with another. That's what we want, brotherhood, fellowship!

History always repeats itself, and there is no new thing under the sun as the book of Ecclesiastes 1 verses 9 and 10 tells us. The things which happened in the past will happen again and again in the future. At His first coming, the Lord Jesus, the Messiah came to redeem and deliver Israel. He did show all the signs and wonders which the Messiah was scripturally supposed to do, it should have caused the High Priest and the leaders of the Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes, Herodians, Essenes, Zealots and any other sect to forget their differences and embrace the appearing of the Messiah as one united brotherhood. But they rejected Him because He did not fit into their man made program, and we know the result of that rebuff, how Jerusalem and the rest of the land was destroyed and the people dispersed all over the world and persecuted ever since till this day.

The seventh Angel anointed the Prophet to deliver the seventh virtue of BROTHERLY KINDNESS, to unite all Christianity as one brotherhood and bring down the Pillar of Fire to make them ready for the second coming of the Lord. But because this mighty move of God was once again rejected, the seventh Angel will pour out His vial into the air to cause a massive earthquake which will divide and flatten every city, and tear the islands and mountains apart . Big hailstones out of Heaven will torment those who are left on the earth at that time to prepare them for the end of all things.

THE COMEBACK OF COMMUNISM IN RUSSIA

In Revelation 15 and 16, John was up in Heaven and he recorded what he saw and heard up there, the seven Angels receiving the seven vials and poured them down upon the earth below. But the people on earth who will be tormented by those vials will not know that these disasters come from God out of Heaven. According to Revelation 11, there will be two Prophets in Israel at the time of the Tribulation, and they will be anointed to pronounce these plagues upon the Gentiles which will cause the seven Angels to pour out Their vials from Heaven. All the people on the earth will know that the two Prophets are the source of these terrible disasters, because at the end of the Tribulation these two Prophets will be killed and those who are still alive at that time will be very happy about it.

Revelation 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice
over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another;
because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Then the Lord Jesus and His armies will get ready for His third coming to fight against the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies at Armageddon. The Lord will have an “agent” through which He will bring the total annihilation of every man made thing on the whole surface of the earth.

That reminds us of the explosion in central Russia on the 30th of June 1908, it was a foreshadow of the battle of Armageddon and a warning of God's wrath to come upon those who reject His end time Message. In 1908 it was trees and botany life which was destroyed within a certain area, but when it will take place in reality it will rid the whole earth of all the people and leave neither root nor branch. We see now why the type happened in Russia and why those seven Angels generated an atomic explosion. At Armageddon, the Russians will actually break an agreement which they had made with the beast and turn against him and his associates and bombard them with enough atomic bombs to cause a chain reaction which will make the whole earth burn as an oven as Malachi 4:1 says.

Most people would say that this prediction is wrong because they believe that Communism is dead and that Russia is a spent force which will never again have a prominent position among the world's main leaders. But those who believe that story will be proven wrong. Anatoliy Golitsyn, a top ranking KGB official defected to the USA in 1961 to warn the West of a new strategy which the Communists prepared to embark on. He explained that in 1922 the Soviet Union was in a very bad way and Lenin needed help from the West to save the country. He developed a “New Economic Policy” , he set up puppet opposition parties and adopted other fake democratic practices to find favour by the West to revive trade, credit, the transfer of technology and western specialist assistance till the economy had sufficiently revived, then he abandoned the “New Economic Policy” again.

Golitsyn insisted that a repetition of this strategy was planned again by the Communists for the same purpose, and when Gorbachev announced the dramatic changes in the former Soviet Union and in Eastern Europe, Golitsyn warned that this was to enforce once again the selfsame strategy.

In December 1991, the Soviet Parliament passed a vote to abolish the USSR and it ceased to exist, and “failed” Communism was supposed to be dead. In the November 95 issue of “Lifeline” published by Voice of God Recordings, Brother Joseph Branham gave a description of his trip to Russia. While he was there, his attention was drawn to a prophesy which had gone forth many years ago. Through the director of the Church of God World Missions, he obtained the following prophesy:

In 1930, a Christian lady in the Soviet Union prophesied that a leader would arise in the Soviet Union whose first name would be Mikhail. He would have a birthmark on his forehead. During this leader's time, the church in the Soviet Union would have freedom of worship, to witness, and to win people to the Lord Jesus Christ. However, this time of religious freedom would last only a short period. Then this time of freedom would end and repression would begin again.”

This prophesy was also given independently in Romania, in Germany, and in Poland by other Pentecostal believers without knowledge that it had been given in other countries at other times.

This prophesy has been established by the mouth of three witnesses as the Bible requires, it goes hand in hand with the predictions which Mr. Golitsyn had made. This “bluff from Russia” was also confirmed by Brother Branham, he predicted the same.

Russia has been as “worm-weeded” again as it was in 1922, and the leaders applied the same tactic as Lenin did. The Prophet said that it had to be that way, I believe that there had to be an opening for the Message to get into Russia and all the other satellite states of the USSR. The Bible says that this Message will go to every nation, kindred and tongue, and the USSR had to disintegrate and the nations had to have independence to fulfill God's Word and receive the Message of the hour. The Prophet predicted in 1962 that East Berlin would be given back to the West, it happened in 1990.

There's been a Roman revival. Do you know what happens? If they give the western part – or the eastern part of Berlin back, that puts communism just – or I mean the Roman empire, just exactly in the old circle it was in the time of Jesus.

All the colonies under the rule of the colonial powers all over the world had to receive independence for the same reason, the Message will be introduced by the Holy Spirit to every nation without some political barriers. Most of the African countries became independent between 1960 and 1964, at the time when the Prophet preached the latter part of the Message.

According to the quote above, the Communists will remain Communists even during the time of the “anti-communist” setup, but at the certain time they will come back to power again. The Newsweek magazine, dated the 22th of April 1991, printed a conversation between the visiting former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt and Marshal Sergei Akhromeyev. Schmidt expressed his fear that the Communists might stage a coup, but Akhromeyev responded that in the Soviet Union there are six Marshals, and he is one of these six and he can assure him that they all are devoted to the ideals of perestroika and of glasnost and all six are walking hand in hand with President Gorbachev.

That means that those six unknown Marshals direct everything from behind the scene and the men in front like Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin and Vladimir Putin say and do as they are told. Before the 1996 presidential elections, party founder Victor Fedosov told Reuter that his Union of Soviet Stalinists, hardliners who describe themselves as “real, rigid communists”, backed Yeltsin in the presidential elections. He explained that the communist candidate Gennady Zyuganov cannot be described as a real communist and they could not vote for such traitors. “Boris Yeltsin and his so-called democrates have not brought as much damage for the cause of Lenin and Stalin as the forms of opportunism from Khrushchev to Zyuganov”. It seems obvious that these hardliners are biding their time.

The 5th of February 1996 issue of the Newsweek magazine carried a special report, relating that for the last three years the most extraordinary nuclear collaboration between East and West is taking place. Russia's best scientists from the former top secret town of Arzamas-16 and the scientists at the American National Laboratory at Los Alamos are working together under a “scientific conversion” agreement, looking for ways to beat nuclear swords into plowshares. The American lab had become a vital source of funding for the Russian facility. The ironic byproduct of this venture is that American money and expertise are helping to keep Russia's most important nuclear-weapons facility intact. The director of international affairs at Los Alamos, who is one of the architects of the joint program, said that some of the work the Russians do is five to ten years ahead of anything in the West.

Russia's got the missile that'll put us on our knees. And so our scientists says that we are five years behind them. It'll be five years before we can catch up to where they are now.

The November 29, 2004 issue of the Time magazine reported that the Russian President Vladimir Putin boasted that his scientists are developing nuclear missile systems of a type that no other nuclear state has. An adviser at the Pentagon said, “Their missile won't work, and neither does our shield to protect us.” In 1933, God's Prophet saw a visions of seven major events, the last one was about the destruction of America.

Now, then after that, I turned and looked, and I saw this United States burning like a smolder - rocks had been blowed up. And it was burning like a-a heap of fire in logs or something that just set it afire. And looked as far as I could see and she had been blown up. And then the vision left me. All those big cities built along the coasts around the world will be affected, the tsunamis will hit them with a devastating force. It is very likely that the Communists will make use of this opportunity at that time to eradicate the United States of America, the despised champion of Capitalism. The Prophet made some interesting statements about an American politician which seems to fit this present President. This great politician got a clear majority by the voters in the hope that he would be the “saving Messiah” to fix all the problems. But now he has lost much of his popularity, and in various news commentaries his policies are more and more compared to Hitlers strategies. There is a strong possibility that there will be another big terrorist attack in the USA, and there are prophetic indications that the response from the President will be far too radical and militant.

Let us take another look at communism. Since the end of the Soviet Union in 1991 and the rule of the communist party, freedom of religion has been proclaimed and every denomination poured into Russia to make new converts and establish churches. The Russian Orthodox church also had a revival, they have become a political and financial power. But they dislike the rich Western churches which lure the people away from their traditional way of worship by offering them money and goods. According to Newsweek (7 July 1997), the leaders of the church put the Russian Parliament under pressure to pass a bill to stop all the “nontraditional religions” - including Roman Catholics, Baptists and other Protestants- from owning land, distributing literature or establishing schools. The only “traditional” religions, the bill says, are Russian Orthodox, Islam, Judaism and Buddhism.

After veto-ing the original bill in response to sharp criticism at home and from the Vatican and the US Congress, President Boris Yeltsin signed a somewhat revised bill into law. Even so this law has not yet been enforced, it could be done at any time. At Graz in Austria, at an Ecumenical conference of 151 European churches, the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Alexy 2 accused the Western churches of using excessive means in the eastern countries to convert the people to their faith. He left in a huff and ignored a scheduled meeting with Pope John Paul.

The May 20, 2002 issue of the Time magazine reported that a wave of anti-Catholicism has swept through Russia, and in some regions the construction of Catholic institutions has been banned. The Patriarch Alexy 2 made a very interesting statement, he said: “A fierce war for minds and souls is going on, the future of our state depends on who wins this war.” The June 28, 2004 Newsweek issue carried a report of further oppression. Protestants and Catholics are not permitted to build churches and some assemblies are forced to meet in forests. Foreign Catholic priests can get a visa for only one month at the time, and sometimes it is withdrawn without explanations. Jehovah's Witnesses were banned altogether in Moscow, they were branded as a threat to the community.

We have already seen four independently given prophesies in four countries and at least one from Brother Branham saying that the Communists will come back to power again in Russia. The Prophet said many times that communism is a tool in the hand of God to punish the remnant of the Gentiles, just as He used Nebuchadnezzar to punish Israel when they had sinned against Him. When those Communists come back to rule again, one of the first things they will do is to shut down and expel all the Western denominations from Russia. That will unite all the churches which belong to the World Council of Churches and the Catholics, they will forget their differences about woman preachers and gay marriages, gay priests and all the varying opinions they have at this point in time.

You'll forget whether your a Methodist, or Baptist, or whoever you are, when the persecution rise, and communism shuts down, the church of God will run together...
